Jessye DeSilva weaves tapestries of witch pop and 70s folk rock with their empathetic moral fiber, strengthened by the radical honesty that grounds their buoyant melodies. Rich with resilience and compassion, DeSilva centers their craft around community, reaching out from behind the piano to share their uplifting spirit with listeners.
I'll be playing with my band, The Rockmores, at one of the best events of the year in metro Boston. In 2019, we played probably our best show as a band, with hundreds of people in attendance on a beautiful spring day. Hoping for the same this year!
I put down my guitar for a few minutes to put on a fundraiser with my compatriots at Boston For All – a unique art sale that lets you decide how much you'll pay for original works, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to La Colaborativa, a Chelsea-based organization helping Latinx immigrants across the Boston area.
"Wired" is my 2nd new single is a string of new releases this year. It will be available in all streaming platforms and for download on Bandcamp.
In the June show of my residency at The Square Root in Roslindale, my guest performer is Ava Sophia, an acoustic R&B singer/songwriter and a 2020 Boston Music Award Nominee. She has an amazing voice that powers smart, soulful songs.
"Disconsolate Eyes" is the 3rd single in a string of new releases this year. It will be available in all streaming platforms and on Bandcamp.
Very excited to be playing again at the Village Social Club in Brookline: Great food, great drinks, and a great vibe. I'll be playing two sets in my solo format, low key accompaniment for a nice night out at VSC.
Isabella DeHerdt and Isaac Eliot are High Tea: An indie-folk duo with soulful harmonies over guitar riffs and percussion, serving up a refreshing blend of old blues and new pop. Their songs are ripe with Americana heartbreak and tell tales of growing up, going wild, and always coming back to the ones you love.
I'll be playing a solo set at the Midway Café in Jamaica Plain.
"Silicon in My Soul" is the 4th single in a string of new releases this year – soon to be available in all streaming platforms & on Bandcamp.
Saturday 7/23/22: I return to Wenham Street Cinema for a summer afternoon show at this cool venue on a hot day in Jamaica Plain.
