Michael Boezi and Chris Wagner at The Substation

October 22 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

I’ll be playing a rare acoustic show at The Substation in Roslindale. The program is the Saturdays at the Substation series, where there is live music, a guest brewer, and a Rozzie Bound bookstore pop-up.

The Substation is located at:
4228 Washington Street (across from Adams Park)
Roslindale, MA 02131

1pm–2pm: Michael Boezi
2pm–3pm: Chris Wagner

MICHAEL BOEZI is a songwriter who performs original songs about current challenges in the culture in a busking, “electric folk” Billy Bragg style – though he’ll be playing a rare acoustic show for this event. Roslindale locals may know him from his monthly residency (2nd Fridays) at The Square Root called the Songwriter Showcase Series.

CHRIS WAGNER is a songwriter and the lead singer of Modern Day Idols (MDI), a local indie pop-rock four-piece that’s been performing together since 2011. With memorable melodies and pop hooks, Chris draws comparisons to Paul Westerberg (Replacements), Cheap Trick, Gin Blossoms, and Soul Asylum.
