The mighty John Powhida and his eponymous International Airport make a rare non-Cambridge performance along with Boston indie rock royalty Mike Gent of The Figgs with a special solo performance. John Powhida is a Boston Songwriter who releases his own original music and has played live with his band John Powhida International Airport for many years. He has played and recorded with Graham Parker, Peter Wolf and members of Utopia and Nazz. He has written songs with The Figgs and won Boston’s 2011 Rock and Roll Rumble.

Mike Gent opens the night with a special solo performance, subbing in as a late add for Nat Freedberg. Mike is indie rock royalty in Boston – you know him from The Figgs (est. Saratoga Springs, 1987) and the mighty Gentlemen.
Michael Boezi is a songwriter who performs original songs about current challenges in the culture. He performs regularly in the metro Boston area, and is currently releasing a series of singles featuring some of Boston’s best musicians as collaborators. These singles are available in all streaming platforms and Bandcamp under “Michael Boezi.”
