If you don’t know Copyblogger, I urge you to check them out. Consistently good content about writing, and of particular interest to me—content marketing.
Content is currency — something we trade for our audience’s attention.
That currency becomes more valuable every time it’s shared by someone other than ourselves.
This is so true. More and more, people aren’t listening to ads. What you say about yourself as a company simply doesn’t matter. People want to hear what other people think of you and your brand. They won’t trust you. They’ll trust each other instead.
Kind of changes everything, doesn’t it? You’d better look good in the eyes of others, then.
