Do you ever feel like we’re running out of time and no one cares? That society is collapsing, yet there’s no appetite for action? When do we start working together to solve our culture’s biggest, most urgent issues?
What if we named the date that it would all end? A date with historical significance, led by a protagonist with experience between this world and the afterlife? Would we start to see “signs of survival” from our own species?
This song was inspired by David Bowie and how he often writes “looking back” from the future or “looking down” from above. I hope it does some good – because the cost of inaction is immeasurable.
