As an educator, the idea of monetizing the content you create may never have occurred to you. After all, you created it for your students. But could other students—or other instructors—benefit from your work? If so, that could be a potential marketplace.
It’s not easy to monetize digital content. But, if you are producing good material that people find valuable, then there’s a chance that someone will want to pay you for it.
But how do you get started? You need a strategy. This article, published on EdTech Times, offers some considerations for how to prepare your content in anticipation of that potential.

This concludes the Good Content Series. I am dedicating these 16 articles to my father, Henry V. Boezi, who would have been 71 today. His life was about making a small difference every day by sharing his expertise with others. He inspired me to do the same, in my own style. The Good Content Series was borne from that inspiration; the complete set of articles can be found on the series page here: http://bit.ly/GoodContentSeries.
My next project for EdTech Times will be Content Strategy for Entrepreneurs, stay tuned for the first piece in January. Thank you all for reading!
